Elle Fanning, star of the Hulu Original series, ‘The Great,’ says playing Russian empress Catherine the Great has been a special experience.
Fanning celebrated the Season 3 premiere of ‘The Great’ alongside the cast and American Express Platinum Card® Members as part of an advanced screening event at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.
Describing her excitement for this season, Fanning shared, “Catherine is the most favorite character I’ve ever played. She’s so special to me. She’s so messy and complicated and she means well. This year, we got to explore emotions that we’ve never portrayed before with Catherine.”
While attending the premiere, presented by Hulu and American Express, Fanning took a moment to talk about the new season and what she loves most about it. “We’re all up to no good, per usual, and it’s just bigger and better than ever,” she said.
