American Express has launched a limited time offer on its Preferred
Rewards Gold Credit Card, offering Cardmembers boosted Membership Rewards
points and a chance to win up to £200 in Amazon e-vouchers.
From today until 8 August, 2023, new Amex Gold
Cardmembers will be able to earn 25,000 Membership Rewards points, boosted from
the usual 20,000 points, when they sign up and are approved for the Card and spend
£3,000 in their first three months. Cardmembers who apply by 18 July, 2023, and achieve
the welcome bonus of 25,000 Membership Rewards points will also be entered into
a competition to win up to £200 Amazon eVouchers.
Cardmembers can spend Membership Rewards points in a variety of ways,
from offsetting purchases they’ve made on their Card, to redeeming points for vouchers
across a range of shopping, travel and lifestyle partners.
New Amex Gold Cardmembers who apply by 18 July,
2023, and achieve the welcome bonus by spending
£3,000 in the first three months of Cardmembership, will automatically be
entered into a prize draw to win up to £200 worth of Amazon e-vouchers to spend
site-wide. There are 3,200 total vouchers to be won; 1,000 x £50 vouchers, 400
x £100 vouchers and 1,800 x £200 vouchers.
Plus, as a limited time offer again running until 8
August, 2023, existing Amex Gold Cardmembers could earn
extra Membership Rewards points when referring a friend. Existing Cardmembers
could earn a bonus of 14,000 bonus points, and their referred friend could earn
30,000 bonus points, if they sign up and are approved, and spend £3,000 in the
first 3 months of Cardmembership. Any new Cardmembers that are referred and
approved for a Gold Card by 18 July, and spend £3,000 in 3 months, will also be
automatically entered into the Amazon prize draw.
