Card Members immersed themselves in music at the BST Hyde Park concert series and an exclusive BET Awards 2023 Watch Party, toasted the start of summer at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, made noise for their favorite players at the 2023 U.S. Open Championship, and sang along to award-winning musicals during Playbill’s’ Pride in Times Square event.

London: American Express presents BST Hyde Park
American Express presents BST Hyde Park spans three weekends of epic music from some of today's biggest names and rising artists. Throughout the festival that will take place in June and July, Card Members can check out live performances from their favorite artists and stop by The Amex Experience for Y2K-inspired refreshments and activities. To shop for the ultimate festival look, Amex teamed up with Depop to bring festivalgoers a curated collection of vintage and pre-loved items that features an edit by British singer-songwriter Caity Baser, available on the Depop app and website.

California: 2023 U.S. Open Championship
Golf fans attended the 2023 U.S. Open Championship at The Los Angeles Country Club, hosted by the United States Golf Association (USGA). To enjoy premium views of the course and refreshments from small businesses, American Express® Card Members could stop by the Amex® Card Member Lounge. Card Members also had access to an exclusive, limited-edition merch collection, created by Metalwood Studio, by minting a POAP - a digital collectible - during their time at the Lounge. France: Celebrating AIR FRANCE KLM – AMERICAN EXPRESS at Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris
American Express invited long-time AIR FRANCE KLM – AMERICAN EXPRESS Card Members to celebrate the legacy of the Card during an exclusive event hosted at Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris. As part of the intimate celebration, Card Members enjoyed a delicious dinner at the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, Il Carpaccio, where dessert was prepared by renowned Pastry Chef Quentin Lechat. Card Members received a tour of the hotel’s famous painting collection by art concierge Julie Eugène.

Card Members embarked on a series of exciting culinary adventures as part of the 2023 summer edition of London Restaurant Festival. From access to the city’s top Michelin-starred restaurants and chefs to hot new openings and London’s unique pastry scene, American Express provided Card Members with a special lineup of events.

Los Angeles: BET Awards 2023
In celebration of the BET Awards 2023, American Express joined forces with BET Media Group to present this year’s Viewer’s Choice Award voted on by fans. American Express Card Members and fans were also invited to an awards show Watch Party at the House of BET, which was hosted by actress and entrepreneur, La La Anthony. Colorado: FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen
With VIP access to celebrity chefs and wine experts, attendees experienced the best of the 40th annual FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen. In addition to sampling some of the most delicious food, wine and spirits from around the world, American Express Card Members joined an exclusive welcome reception at the Aspen Art Museum hosted by Anthony Giglio, Wine Director for The Centurion Lounge Global Network by American Express. Card Members also enjoyed a four-course dinner at The Little Nelle prepared by Chef Sean Brock, a member of the Global Dining Access on Resy network.

Card Members participated in an exciting day of pickleball at the iconic Arthur Ashe Stadium as part of the Equinox x American Express Platinum® Series. Pro tennis champion Andy Roddick hosted warm-up sessions.

New York: NYC Pride Weekend 2023
In celebration of NYC Pride Weekend 2023, people from around the world gathered in the theater district for Playbill’s Pride in Times Square celebration, in partnership with the Times Square Alliance. As part of the weekend’s series of events, Card Members enjoyed main stage performances from highly acclaimed hits including “Kimberly Akimbo,” “&Juliet,” “Some Like It Hot,” and “Hamilton”. Actor Alex Newell from the hit production “Shucked” also joined the experience for a meet-and-greet with Card Members at a double-decker bus sponsored by American Express where guests could enjoy refreshments and a game that provided free giveaways from local small businesses, Bioglitz and Raul's Avila Inc. New York: Exclusive NYC Experience of Fine Dining and Broadway
Card Members were treated to a special New York City experience with Amex that emphasized the access to theater and dining that comes #withAmex. The evening began with dinner prepared by Chef Eric Ripert at New York’s three-Michelin star and Global Dining Access by Resy restaurant, Le Bernardin. Following the dinner, Card Members were off to Broadway to see “Parade,” starring award-winning actor Ben Platt and Michaela Diamond.

New York: 2023 NBA Draft
Basketball fans recognized the next generation of rising stars during the 2023 NBA Draft at Barclays Center. To commemorate the moment, Card Members could purchase an exclusive jacket designed by Waraire Boswell, the Los Angeles-based fashion designer who outfitted NBA Draft selections, Ausar and Amen Thompson, for the special night. To toast to the beginning of summer, The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic brought together a colorfully dressed crowd of spectators to watch the annual tournament at Liberty State Park, set to a backdrop of New York’s skyline. Among the cheering and the clinking of glasses of Veuve Clicquot, guests could stop by American Express’ activation to grab a Clicquot Yellow fan and create their own photo opp.
