Customers in the UK and US can check out the Caity Baser Edit launching today, Thursday 15th June here, or in the Depop App

Community-powered fashion resale marketplace, Depop, and American Express have announced a collaboration with rising pop star Caity Baser, offering Depop users in the UK the opportunity to shop a curated edit of her Depop picks and festival looks.

This comes as part of a six-month partnership across the US and UK, that sees Depop and Amex collaborate with talent performing at headline festivals to bring their personal style to festival-goers worldwide and show them that what’s old can be new again.

Rising star Caity Baser is currently preparing for an exciting summer of new music and festivals, including a performance at American Express presents BST Hyde Park. She has been chosen by Depop and Amex to bring her distinctly playful Gen Z style to fashion and music fans in the UK and US this summer. Earlier in the year, the partnership saw rising hip-hop star and fashion icon, Flo Milli, offer Depop users in the US and UK the chance to shop a curated collection of festival picks.

“With an ever-growing number of festival goers seeking to shop sustainably, Depop is constantly meeting our community where they are and providing our customers with compelling new ways to commit to circular fashion” said Peter Semple, Depop’s Chief Marketing Officer. “As American Express has delivered a range of different, unforgettable festival experiences for nearly a decade, the festival-wear partnership felt like a natural fit.  Depop users have the chance to shop curated style edits inspired by upcoming musical artists who embody the bold, creative spirit of the Depop community, while promoting and celebrating the incredible circular fashion on our platform, is an incredibly exciting opportunity.”

Having established itself as a leader in delivering unforgettable experiences at music festivals for nearly a decade, American Express is now partnering with Depop to further empower people to keep festival fashion circular and bring new life to pre-loved clothing.

“The UK always has such an exciting music festival season so we’re delighted to see our partnership with Depop kicking off in the UK,” said Shiz Suzuki, Vice President, Global Brand Sponsorships and Experiential Marketing at American Express. “Today’s festival-going generation craves authenticity, nostalgia and in-the-moment experiences. So, this year, across American Express presents BST Hyde Park and other UK and US festivals, we’re showing what’s old is new again, through nostalgic festival activations as well as our partnership with Depop. Through this partnership, we’re finding ways to inspire our communities to embrace their festival style in a more sustainable way, bringing new life to pre-loved clothing, through edits curated by their favourite festival artists available on the Depop app and website."

Caity Baser said, “Growing up, I’ve loved second-hand fashion not just because it’s kinder to the planet, it’s often more affordable too. My TikTok community and my fans have been there for me since day one, so I’m excited to be working with American Express and Depop to make circular fashion a little bit more accessible and bring my personal style to life.”

Customers in the UK and US can check out the Caity Baser Edit, launching Thursday, 15 June here, or in the Depop App.
