American Express (NYSE: AXP) today announced that Sam's Club, the eighth largest U.S. retailer and a leading membership warehouse club for small businesses and consumers, will accept American Express cards as a form of payment starting October 1, 2015. The acceptance of American Express throughout the more than 650 Sam's Club locations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico will provide Card Members with access to high quality-products, brands and services at a great value.

"We are constantly looking for ways to expand the places where our Card Members can shop and bring more convenience and value to their everyday lives," said Anré Williams, President, Global Merchant Services at American Express.
