NEW YORK,  May 4, 2011 -- 

American Express is proud to announce its sponsorship of The Metropolitan Museum of Art's exhibition Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty in partnership with Alexander McQueen and Condé Nast. And in celebration of the exhibition, American Express is offering complimentary audio guides to Cardmembers who use their American Express Card to pay full price Museum admission from May 5 to May 19, 2011. To redeem, Cardmembers must mention the American Express offer at the Admission desk when paying full price admission with any American Express Card (limit one complimentary audio guide per Cardmember). Museum Members must present an American Express Card at the Members Services desk to redeem the offer.*

Centurion and Platinum Card members have Premium Access to Savage Beauty "After Hours"
In addition to the audio tour, American Express is hosting an intimate group of Centurion and Platinum Card members "after hours" at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City tomorrow night. The sold-out Premium Access event will offer guests a tour of the new exhibition guided by Harold Koda, Curator-in-Charge, The Costume Institute; and Andrew Bolton, Curator, The Costume Institute at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Guests will also enjoy a cocktail reception hosted by fashion icon Daphne Guinness and a presentation of memorable looks from her private McQueen collection.
