The new cards issued by Banco Espirito Santo will be designed to meet the financial requirements and lifestyles of its customers and will feature both the Banco Espirito Santo and American Express logos on the front of the cards.
Under the agreement, Banco Espirito Santo will be responsible for creating the products, issuing the cards, overseeing credit management and managing the customer accounts. As one of Portugal's premier banking and financial services institutions, Banco Espirito Santo's partnership with American Express brings together its extensive customer base and local banking expertise together with the strength of the American Express network.
The American Express-branded cards will be accepted on the American Express merchant network in Portugal and around the world.
