Exclusive Tory Burch Presentation Event
On Wednesday, September 15 at 9:30PM, American Express Cardmembers will experience an exclusive viewing of the Tory Burch Spring 2011 collection. The fashionable evening will feature models styled in spring looks, initially presented earlier that day at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Cardmembers will have the opportunity to hear from Tory and learn about the inspiration behind the upcoming collection. Cardmembers can purchase tickets to the event, featuring live music by renowned DJ Cassidy, starting today at 100 percent of the proceeds will go towards the Tory Burch Foundation, which Tory launched in 2009 to provide economic opportunities to women and their families in the US. In partnership with ACCION USA, the foundation empowers women to start, sustain and grow their own businesses through microfinance.

Social Media Access to the Pulse of Fashion
American Express continues to support its Cardmembers’ passion for fashion and share that enthusiasm via social media through its newly designed physical and virtual spaces. This season’s lobby space will allow Cardmembers and show attendees alike to interact via Twitter through the specially enhanced multimedia wall. Connect with @americanexpress and check out the American Express Twitter Wall, which will display tweets in real time from those using the #AMEXMBFW tag from top industry voices, Skybox experts and Independent Fashion Bloggers, giving fashion goers instant insight and access to the many happenings during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Skybox Soars with Style from Bill Sofield
Perched high about The Theater and The Stage, the American Express Skybox will hit stylish new heights this season with a rich and layered new look created by one of the world’s leading designers. American Express, in partnership with Architectural Digest, has commissioned renowned interior designer Bill Sofield to customize this year’s exclusive hideaway, infusing a sense of subdued opulence that complements the move to Lincoln Center.

American Express will once again partner with Independent Fashion Blogger community, as part of its enhanced social media offering. In partnership with the IFB, American Express will host the second annual “Evolving Influence” blogger conference taking place on Thursday, September 9 at the Hudson Hotel in New York City. The full day event, co-moderated by IFB founder Jennine Tamm Jacob, will feature a panel of industry heavyweights including Style Bubble, Cupcakes & Cashmere, The Cut, Bryan Boy, Bloglovin' and more*. American Express proudly continues its support of emerging designers in the industry with a $250,000 donation to the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund (CVFF), a program of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
